Reptile UVB Test Cards | Reusable UV Sensor, 2-Pack

Check whether your reptile lamp is producing detectable ultraviolet output with this two-pack of reusable colour-change sensor cards. The white chameleon-shaped test area changes to purple when exposed to UV, providing a quick visual indication that ultraviolet light is present.

For meaningful comparisons, test at the reptile’s basking position and use the same lamp distance, fixture, mesh and room-lighting conditions each time. A deeper purple response can indicate stronger relative exposure under the same test conditions, but the card does not provide an exact UV Index, UVB percentage or species-specific exposure reading.

These compact cards are useful for routine lamp checks, comparing output before and after repositioning a fixture, or identifying an obvious reduction in output over time. They should be used as a general indicator only and do not replace a calibrated UV meter or species-appropriate lighting guidance.

Each card measures approximately 8.6 × 5.4 cm. The manufacturer lists the cards as reusable up to 500 times. This pack includes two cards for use in separate enclosures or to keep one as a spare.
