Elastic Mesh Bird Cage Seed Catcher | M & L

Help contain scattered seed husks, feathers and food debris around your bird’s cage with this lightweight elastic mesh seed catcher.

The breathable nylon mesh wraps around the lower section of the cage, while elasticated top and bottom edges help hold it in position. The open mesh allows light and airflow to pass through without covering the entire cage.

These are the manufacturer-listed product dimensions. Because the material and elastic edges stretch, the final fit will vary depending on the cage’s shape and measurements. Measure the section of the cage where the seed catcher will sit before ordering.

The mesh can be used on many round, square and rectangular cages when the measurements are suitable. Position it around the feeder area without covering doors, feeder access points or other moving parts.

Fitting instructions

1. Slide the seed catcher over the cage from the bottom.
2. Position the lower elastic edge securely near the cage base.
3. Raise the upper edge to surround the feeder area.
4. Check that the mesh is secure and does not create loose loops accessible to your bird.
   
   

Cleaning:

Remove the seed catcher before cleaning. Hand wash or machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle, then air dry completely before returning it to the cage.

Inspect the mesh regularly and stop using it if it becomes torn, stretched or damaged.
